Over a period of two hours the race committee had all teams in a stand by modus waiting for good winds – but despite the effort it was not possible to start again. But the wind decreased again and only a few minutes later the race was abandoned. The first boats crossed the line after one hour, 16 minutes later all 28 boats had finished. As expected the championship defenders didn't miss to win one more race, followed by Burvill/Jentsch and the Aussies Gavin Colby and Billy Leonard. The race on Wednesday was started without delay at 1 pm with northwesterly winds (2 bfts) caressing the lakes surface and the sun was smiling between grey clouds for a change today.
